December 2021 and January 2022 will be exciting months for 18Loop. This month, we have received additional year end funding from Servier Pharmaceuticals for our Joint Experimental Research Study (JEIRS) with the American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO). The Servier funding will allow us to ship VR headsets to many of our backlog ACCO kids before Christmas. Once received, we'll be able to qualitatively measure the impact of our recommended environments and compare the results to our initial cohorts. We are confident that we will continue to see 9 out of 10 kids report better overall mood and better hospital visits for treatment. Scaling the size of JEIRS will give us more confidence in our results and will ultimately allow our team to impact more kids that are fighting cancer. We plan to announce cancer center based research in 2022 that adds quantitative data gathering.
In January, 18Loop will be kicking off a charity event with the ACCO. We'll be releasing details and going to the press before the end of the year. We will also be launching a new 18Loop website featuring video from our constituent children and a better design to convey our message.
