Chuck Van Buren
Chuck is a consumer marketing data specialist with deep of knowledge of digital marketing technologies and data platforms. Over the last 15 years, his passion for service and community engagement has involved him deeply with the immediate needs of the underserved and homeless in New York City.
Being professionally focused on helping brands increase engagement with consumers, Chuck supports digital campaigns and experiences with data strategies and measurement planning. Chuck’s experience with digital capability planning and organizational readiness has helped clients as they undertake large marketing transformation programs.
Chuck actively participates with two nonprofit organizations in New York City. He has been serving at University Community Social Service’s soup kitchen every Saturday in the East Village since 2004. In 2017, he founded ShowerPower NYC with a group of likeminded individuals focused on providing free hygiene services. The group now provides free showers to 200 people per week at their mobile shower unit in Harlem.
Chuck's background spans the US and Asia across several industries including travel, entertainment, beauty, healthcare, and wellness. Key clients include Enterprise, Epix, Shiseido, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Tivity Health. Chuck is a graduate of MIT and earned his MBA from Cheung Kong School of Business.
